Inauguration ceremony of the banking practice room

On the morning of February 21, 2023, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector of LHU and Mr. Tran Mau Khiet Tam - Director of Asia Commercial Bank, Dong Nai Branch (ACB) cut the ribbon to inaugurate a specialized practice room for LHU students majoring in Banking and Finance.

Attendees from ACB were Ms. Huynh Ho Thu Trinh - Director of Bien Hoa Transaction Office; Mr. Le Thanh Tan - Director of Ho Nai Transaction Office. The University was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy - Dean and Dr. Nguyen Van Hai - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Finance - Accounting; MBA. Nguyen Hai Quan - Head of Corporate Relations and Student Support Division; Dr. Nguyen Van Trung - Director of Center for Admissions and Public Relations, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Finance - Accounting.

The banking practice room is funded by ACB. At the end of 2022, LHU and ACB signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the two sides. At the signing ceremony, ACB sponsored LHU a banking practice room worth VND 260 million.

The practice room is designed to reflect a real-world bank. Students can practice their knowledge in a real banking environment, and build their understanding of current banking practices. This also offers high school students an opportunity to experience before choosing their majors.
