Career orientation for pupils from Center for Vocational Education and Training in Tan Phu district

With the aim of offering the career orientation as well as the practical experience in the university, on March 12, 2023 at campus 1 and 6, LHU welcomed 120 pupils from the Center for Vocational Education and Training in Tan Phu district.

The pupils were eager to learn about 24 majors of LHU

During the day, LHU accompanied pupils to give career guidance and create opportunities for them to experience directly the learning and research environment at the University.

The experience of becoming "a student" of the Faculty of Pharmacy

Opening the program, the delegation visited the LHU's Center of Scientific Research and Applications, gathering more than 30 practical laboratories and workshops serving disciplines such as Electrical - Electronics, Automation and Control, Automotive Technology, Food Engineering, Construction Engineering, Pharmacy; E-commerce,… The pupils had opportunities to experience the actual facilities, classrooms, laboratories, self-study areas,... and do experiments under the guidance of lecturers. In addition, they participated in a career orientation program at the Hall B201, chaired by Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh. Here, the participants listened to his sharing and consulting in choosing future careers. Introduction of admission regulations and training programs in 2023 were also provided to the pupils. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector of LHU said that, understanding the aspirations of students and parents, LHU wishes to help them understand themselves and professions before choosing a major, a university. To help high school seniors have more opportunities to experience and choose a future learning environment, LHU has actively cooperated with affiliated units, high schools, Centers for Vocational Education and Training in the local and neighboring areas to organize practical visits in combination with career orientation programs. Each year, LHU averagely welcomes more than 1,000 students to visit, study and experience.
