LHU signed a cooperation agreement with KoCham in Dong Nai

On July 13, within the framework of the international exchange activities between LHU students and Yeungnam University's volunteer student delegation, Gyeongsan city, Korea, DSc. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector of LHU signed a cooperation agreement with Mr. Kim Jun Young - Vice President of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KoCham) in Dong Nai, promising more apprenticeship and employment opportunities for Korean Studies - majored students of LHU.

Attending the signing ceremony, from the provincial leaders, there were Mr. Nguyen Son Hung - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee; Mr. Huynh Thanh Binh - Member of Standing Party Committee, Head of Inspection Committee of Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association; Ms. Dang Thanh Thuy - Director of Department of Foreign Affairs; Ms. Tran Thuy Tien - General Secretary of the Union of Friendship Organizations. On the partner side, there were Mr. Han Won Seok - Director of External Cooperation of KoCham in Dong Nai; Mr. Kim Bo Young - Deputy Head of the Volunteer Delegation of Gyeongsan city, Korea.

At the event, the two parties introduced their information, showing that LHU has many strengths in training high-quality human resources, closely following the needs of businesses; and KOCHAM with a long history of foundation and development, has many welfare programs, a good cultural environment, bringing many training, apprenticeship and job opportunities at Korean enterprises for students.

To promote cooperation and closeness, the two sides have agreed that from now until the end of 2023, KoCham will introduce and receive Korean Studies - majored students of the 2023 intake to get practical experience at Korean companies.
