2024 Lac Hong Robot finals to be held

• The final round of the 2024 Lac Hong Robot Contest was successfully held on January 30, 2024 to select the best teams for the 2024 National Robot Contest.

• The competition taking place at Lac Hong Robotic Technology Center, saw the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector; DSc. Pham Van Toan - Dean, MSc. Le Hoang Anh - Vice Dean and lecturers of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics.

The year's competition attracted the participation of six teams with members majoring in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology; Mechatronics Engineering Technology and Automation and Control Engineering Technology. Teams had to experience qualifying rounds including: Idea round, and Experimental Manufacture round to be selected for the final round of Lac Hong Robot Contest.

After thrilling matches, the Jury selected and awarded prizes to winners as follow: First prize: Team LH-NSMF; Second prize: Team LH-UIS and Third prize: Team LH-VFLAME.

The three best teams will continue to improve their robots to be able to participate in the Southern qualifying round, the final round of the Vietnam Robocon 2024, and try to get a ticket to compete at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2024.

Accordingly, the ABU Robocon 2024 will be held in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, promising fierce competitions between teams of universities and colleges across the country to win a ticket to participate in the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2024.

Wishing robot teams of LHU to make breakthrough improvements and maintain a strong fighting spirit to continue to bring glory to the University. 

A meeting among manufacturers under the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia at the end of August 2023 was held to introduce the theme and rules of ABU Robocon 2024 to representatives from participating countries. The theme of the ABU Robocon 2024 is "Harvest Day", inspired from terraced rice fields of the host country Vietnam. To be qualified for the ABU Robocon 2024, robot teams from universities and colleges across the country will continue to compete at the 2024 Vietnam Robot Contest.
