LHU Google Student Ambassador invited to join Taiwan's TEEP Program

A new and proud journey has officially begun for a LHU student. Congratulations to Tran Van Hoi on successfully receiving an invitation to participate in the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) at Da-Yeh University, Taiwan, a prestigious international academic program funded by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MOE).

Notably, Tran Van Hoi has been selected to participate in the international research project titled “Practical Applications of Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) Technologies for Autonomous Monitoring of Photovoltaic (PV) Systems”, supervised by Professor Huang-Liang Tsai at Da-Yeh University.

Tran Van Hoi is also a Google Student Ambassador who has been actively involved in numerous notable activities in the fields of technology, academics, and student community engagement.

Hoi shared "My journey into Artificial Intelligence began a little late since I spent a period of time working as a factory worker before returning to university. Therefore, I have always tried to make the most of every learning opportunity. Having been awarded the TEEP scholarship, I will spend four months at Da-Yeh University conducting research in data analytics and developing AI technologies for monitoring systems. To earn this valuable opportunity, I am truly grateful to LHU lecturers and mentors for their continuous support, guidance, and connections. My goal during this program is to gain hands-on experience in an international R&D environment and learn more about how AI models are applied to real-world challenges.

The Google team also expressed their admiration for Tran Van Hoi’s efforts and achievements over the years, and shared their interest in sharing his story on Google’s official platforms to inspire and reach a wider community.

Tran Van Hoi is scheduled to depart for Taiwan on September 30, 2026, to begin his academic and research experience in an international environment.

Tran Van Hoi is also a Google Student Ambassador with an active engagement in technology and student community initiatives

During his time at Da-Yeh University, Tran Van Hoi will receive a minimum monthly stipend of NTD 15,000 from the international research scholarship program.

This scholarship offers a valuable opportunity to gain exposure to an international research environment, cutting-edge AI technologies and modern digital transformation, while demonstrating the spirit of learning, research, and global integration of LHU students on their journey to the world stage.
