The Faculty of English Language held the Fourth Alumni Meeting in 2019

     Established in 1997 with the establishment of Lac Hong University, the Faculty of English language increasingly asserted its position thanks to the continuous efforts of the collective of staff - lecturers and students of the Faculty. Over the past 20 years, thousands of students from the Faculty of English Language from Lac Hong University have graduated, making a significant contribution to the human resources of the country in general and the province in particular. Many alumni are holding important positions in foreign enterprises, state management agencies, and a few have become lecturers of universities and colleges. That achievement is not only the joy of the School Board, of the teachers of the Factulty of English Language but also the pride of those who have grown up from the University.

     Intending to help alumni of the English Language Department have the opportunity to re-visit teachers and interact with junior students, to further link the relationship between teachers and students, and among students from different courses, at 8:00 am on May 18, 2019, at Hall D503, Campus 2, Lac Hong University, the Faculty of English Language solemnly organized the program of the fourth alumni meeting in 2019 in the warm atmosphere and full of emotions. The meeting is not only a place for alumni to remind students of their life but also a solid bridge between the school and society and business - where the alumni are working.

+ More than 30 alumni representing courses with students in the entire Faculty.

    Right from the beginning of the meeting, a warm, intimate atmosphere filled the hall. All the alumni are happy and touched when they returned to visit their old school and meet their teachers and friends again after many years of separation.

    Along with reviewing student memories, alumni enthusiastically exchanged and shared work experience, post-graduation job opportunities for students. Besides, the students also asked many questions and also expressed satisfaction with the answers of the alumni.

    On this occasion, Mr. Tran Thanh Huy, director of Huy Tran Production Trading Service Co., Ltd. also presented a free cafe to serve the Conference as well as to dedicate to faculty lecturers and business guests with 10kg of premium coffee _ equivalent to 3,000,000 VND. Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Truc, Regional Manager of NGO-JICA also gave 50 vouchers to Tiniworld amusement park worth 5,000,000 VND to the Faculty. The Faculty of English Language would like to thank the business, the alumni for spending time to attend the meeting and give the Faculty meaningful gifts.
