Faculty of English Language Youth Union & Student Association: A Year of Vibrant Milestones and Proud Legacies

In the 2024–2025 academic year, the Youth Union and Student Association of the Faculty of English Language (FEL) left a powerful mark through a series of dynamic, diverse, and meaningful activities, affirming the proactive, creative, and responsible spirit of FEL youth.

Excellence in Emulation, Academic, and Cultural Movements:
- First Prize in the "Outstanding Grassroots Youth Union Officers" competition, proving the leadership and organizational prowess of our officers.
- First Prize in the "30/4 Check-in Corner" contest, showcasing creativity and patriotism through visual storytelling.
- Collaborated with the University’s Student Association to achieve a string of victories in anti-social vice campaigns:
- Best Drug Prevention Project award.
- Grand Prize (First Place) at the "Drug-Free School 2024" competition.
- Third Prize Overall at the Dong Nai Provincial English Club Festival, asserting our linguistic strengths and international integration.
- Shined on the performing arts stage with two Third Prizes at the Final Gala of the "Lac Hong Student Singing Festival & Dong Nai High School Students 2024."
- Male Football Champions at the Faculty of Oriental Studies Sports Festival.
- Harvested numerous medals at the LHU Student Sports Festival 2024–2025:
+ Badminton: First & Second Prize (Female’s Pairs); Third Prize (Female Individual & Mixed Pairs).
+ Pickleball: Second Prize (Male Pairs); Second & Third Prize (Female Individual).
+ Track & Field: Third Prize (Female Individual)

The Faculty Student Association Branch was commended by the University Youth Union Executive Board for outstanding task completion in 2024.

Connecting and Serving the Community:
- Participated in the "Golden Bell Challenge" at Sonadezi College of Technology and Management, winning the sub-award for "Team with Outstanding Performance in the Rescue Round."
- Co-organized the "Mid-Autumn for Children" charity program at Dieu Phap Shelter 2024, spreading love to the community.
- Actively engaged in major campaigns: Exam Season Support, Back to School, Green Summer Volunteer Campaign, etc.
- Accompanied the University and Faculty in key events: LHU Open Day 2024, LHU Run 2024, X-games, and more.

Inspiring and Engaging Students:
- Hosted academic and sports playgrounds: Intellectual Chess Tournament, E-Ling Smash Cup 2025, etc.
- Produced impressive media content: Promotional videos for "Student of 5 Merits" and "LHU Stories."
- Notably, the FEL Youth Union & Student Association proudly participated in the 11th LHU Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress (Term 2024–2027), reaffirming its pioneering role in the university’s youth movement.
