Nguyễn Xuân Trường awarded the title of Youth Leader “Outstanding Student Union Officer”.

On the morning of January 7, 2022, the Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Dong Nai Provincial Student Association organized a program to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnam Student Association (January 9, 1950 – January 9, 2022).

At the same time, the Dong Nai Provincial Student Association conducted a ceremony to honor collectives and individuals who achieved the title of “Five-Good Student” at the Central level and received the “Sao Thang Gieng” Award in 2021; honored 7 collectives and 159 individuals who achieved the provincial-level “Five-Good Student” title for the academic year 2020 – 2021; and recognized 22 outstanding key Student Union officers.

Lac Hong University was honored to have 5 individuals awarded the title of Student Union Leader, certified by the Dong Nai Provincial Student Association as “Outstanding Student Union Officers” of Dong Nai Province for the academic year 2020 – 2021. Specifically, from the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics (FAIE), student Nguyễn Xuân Trường – Head of the Student Sub-Association of class 19QT112, under the Faculty Student Association of the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics (FAIE), Lac Hong University.

It is known that this was the first time Xuân Trường achieved the title of Youth Leader after many efforts and attempts to improve himself. Trường shared that he joined Youth Union and Student Association activities at FAIE from the end of 2019 to early 2020. Being aware of the values brought to himself and society from student movements and activities, Trường was determined to complete his studies well and actively participate in Youth Union – Student Association activities organized by FAIE, Lac Hong University.

In movement activities, Xuân Trường actively participated in programs such as: the Mid-Autumn Festival Night to support orphans and disadvantaged children, while creating a joyful lantern procession and singing night for children at Thien Than Shelter (Tam Hoa Ward, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province); the program “Student Festival of FAIE for the academic year 2020 – 2021” commemorating the 90th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2021); volunteer funds; the “Spring of Love” program; and together with Youth Union – Student Association members organizing programs and events at the Faculty.

Not only active in Student Association activities, Trường also demonstrated his abilities in academic performance, regularly helping classmates and sharing study experiences. As an enthusiastic and dynamic student who actively contributed ideas in class, Trường was also a source of inspiration, encouragement, and comfort to classmates, motivating them to study hard, awaken their abilities, and promote each member’s strengths, contributing to building a united and developing class 19QT112. Over the years, Trường’s academic and training results have consistently been high; he has continuously achieved Excellent Student status. He also actively participated in various competitions launched. In December 2021, Trường won Third Prize (individual category) in the contest “Moments of Gratitude” launched by FAIE….

Recently, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Trường arranged to return to his hometown, making it more convenient for daily activities, studying, and taking care of his family. As a student studying away from home and facing difficult circumstances, Trường shared that his family has four members. His father works as a construction laborer in Ho Chi Minh City and only occasionally returns home. His mother, a quick, strong, and resilient woman, also works as a construction laborer in their hometown, not hesitating to endure hardship so that Trường and his older sister could pursue their education fully without disadvantages compared to their peers. During difficult times, the whole family worked together to earn additional income to support the siblings’ education. These hardships have strengthened and shaped Xuân Trường’s spirit and determination to rise. He always strives to do everything well, reminding himself to be strong, steadfast, and continuously improve. Upon hearing that Xuân Trường achieved the title of Student Union Leader “Outstanding Student Union Officer,” his parents were deeply moved and overjoyed. At the same time, they continued to encourage and motivate him to strive for even greater achievements, expressing their pride in him.

As for Trường, from the moment he received the news that he had achieved the title of Student Leader, he could not sleep that night, filled with joy and excitement. He pledged to continue promoting and inheriting the dynamic, creative, enthusiastic spirit and the exemplary role models of senior members. He aims to become an individual who lives with clear goals, works in a scientific, approachable, and effective manner, meeting the requirements of Youth Union – Student Association work in the new phase. He expressed gratitude to the Faculty Youth Union – Student Association, the University Youth Union – Student Association, lecturers, seniors, and friends who have accompanied him over the past time, always loving, supporting, helping, and encouraging him in both studies and activities, helping him develop himself and become a typical example.

For Trường, whatever we do, we must have goals. If we do not set long-term goals to strive for, we will live irresponsibly toward our own lives and must not let ourselves drift or surrender to fate.
