LHU Logistics and Supply Chain Management Students Gain Practical Experience at FM Logistic

Knowledge of logistics becomes more tangible when students step beyond the classroom and observe real-world business operations. The field-based learning experience at FM Logistic provided students of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program at Lac Hong University (LHU) with an opportunity to connect their academic knowledge with their future professional environment.

On the morning of September 19, 2026, students of Class 25LG115 from the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program, Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University, participated in a field visit and practical learning experience at FM Logistic Di An. The activity was organized to bridge the gap between theory and practice, enabling students to broaden their practical knowledge and gain a clearer understanding of their future working environment.

During the visit, students were introduced to the company, toured its facilities, and gained first-hand exposure to its operational environment. Knowledge previously acquired through lectures and learning materials became more meaningful as students were able to observe, relate, and compare academic concepts with actual business practices. Through this experience, they developed a clearer understanding of how specialized knowledge is applied in a professional setting.

A highlight of the program was the interactive discussion and question-and-answer session. This provided students with an opportunity to actively raise issues of interest and gain further insights into real-world operations and the professional environment within the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The visit also helped students recognize that career readiness requires more than professional knowledge alone. Initiative, effective communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and adaptability are equally important in the workplace. Early exposure to businesses during their university studies therefore enables students to develop a better understanding of their future professions and proactively prepare the competencies required for their careers.

Through field-based learning activities, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University continues to strengthen university–industry engagement, providing students with opportunities to learn from real-world practice, deepen their understanding of their chosen profession, and progressively prepare themselves for the labor market.

The Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University, extends its sincere appreciation to FM Logistic for its warm welcome, valuable knowledge sharing, and support in providing students with the opportunity to visit and gain first-hand insights into its operational environment. The company’s collaboration has contributed to meaningful professional learning experiences for students while further strengthening university–industry partnerships in human resource development.

For students of Class 25LG115, the visit to FM Logistic was more than a company tour; it was a learning experience beyond the classroom, where academic knowledge was connected with real-world practice and future career pathways became increasingly clear.
