Logistics and Supply Chain Management Students Gain Practical Experience at Dong A Pharmaceutical Logistics Joint Stock Company

Bringing students into real-world business environments not only makes classroom knowledge more tangible but also provides valuable opportunities to observe workplace practices, deepen their understanding of the profession, and progressively prepare for their future careers. Continuing its series of practice-oriented learning activities, Lac Hong University (LHU) organized a field visit and practical learning experience for students at Dong A Pharmaceutical Logistics Joint Stock Company.

On the morning of September 28, 2026, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University organized a field visit and practical learning program at Dong A Pharmaceutical Logistics Joint Stock Company, located at 63 National Highway 1K, Tay B Quarter, Dong Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The program brought together 40 students from Classes 25LG111 and 25VT111, providing them with an additional opportunity to experience a professional business environment during their university studies.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe the company’s actual working environment and connect the knowledge acquired in the classroom with specific professional contexts. In particular, exposure to a company operating in the field of pharmaceutical logistics provided students with broader perspectives on the diversity of working environments and potential career pathways related to their field of study.

Beyond enriching students’ practical knowledge, the visit also enhanced their awareness of the competencies required for their future careers. In addition to a solid foundation of professional knowledge, initiative, observation, effective communication, collaboration, and adaptability to the corporate environment are essential competencies that should be progressively developed throughout their university education.
